Purpose of use
Cryosave II is a cell preservation solution intended for cryogenic storage, suitable for the cryopreservation of cells derived from various tissue sources at −86 °C or −196 °C.
The product is for research or manufacturing use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use in humans.
Description
Cryosave II is a preservation solution for mesenchymal stem cells and other cell lines, manufactured as a light yellow solution and supplied in plastic bottles with fill volumes of 100 mL and 500 mL. The solution is ready to use and does not require dilution or the addition of any other components prior to use.
The formulation contains 5% DMSO and does not contain animal-derived components (xeno-free). In Cryosave II, fetal bovine serum has been replaced with human serum albumin, thereby reducing the risk of immune responses associated with the transmission of animal-derived components to humans.
