Purpose of use
The Transferring Medium is a tissue and specimen transport solution intended for the transportation of samples such as adipose tissue, umbilical cord tissue, skin tissue, and other tissues for use in the manufacturing of cell-based products.
Description
To maintain cell quality within tissues, the solution is supplemented with nutrients, a HEPES buffering system to maintain pH, and antibiotics and antifungal agents to inhibit bacterial and fungal growth.
The solution is sterile (0 CFU), Mycoplasma-free, has an endotoxin level of ≤ 1 EU/mL, a pH range of 7.0–7.8, and an osmolality of 286–356 mOsm/kg.
