Purpose of use

MSCCult II is a specialized culture medium intended for the expansion of mesenchymal stem cells derived from bone marrow, umbilical cord mesenchyme, and dental pulp, dental apical tissue, or periodontal ligament stem cells.

Description

This is a high-performance cell expansion culture medium with an endotoxin level of ≤ 1 EU/mL, free of Mycoplasma, meeting sterility requirements (0 CFU), with a pH of 7.2–8.2 and an osmolality of 286–356 mOsm/kg.

The medium does not contain and does not require supplementation with bovine serum. It is supplied as a complete, ready-to-use culture medium. Surface coating of culture vessels with adhesion-promoting proteins is not required when using this medium. The medium contains phenol red and does not contain antibiotics or antifungal agents.
